These terms apply when you use the palava.city website or its WhatsApp service (+91 8779 421204, "Apna Palava"). By using them you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. palava.city is run by Neha Garg, a Palava resident, and is built and provided by VirtualCOO® ("we", "us").

What palava.city is

A free, independent residents' initiative for Palava (pin code 421204): a directory of local businesses, services and useful numbers, updates on WhatsApp, and, soon, residents' own posts. It is not affiliated with Lodha, any developer, society or government body.

The directory

• Entries come from the businesses themselves, from their own public advertisements, from public sources and from residents. Each entry says where its information came from and when it was last checked.
• We check entries before publishing, but we cannot guarantee that details, prices or timings are complete, current or correct. Please confirm with the business before you rely on them.
• A listing is not a recommendation. We do not endorse, employ or vouch for any business. Any deal, payment or service is between you and the business.
• "Confirmed by the business" means the business itself sent or claimed the details, nothing more.

Your account

You log in by sending a code from your own WhatsApp number. Use only your own number, keep your phone secure, and log out on shared devices. You can stop all messages anytime by sending STOP.

What you send us

• When you send a listing, post, photo or message, you confirm it is true, that you are allowed to share it, and that it follows our Listing rules.
• You let us publish, edit for clarity and length, and share it on palava.city, our WhatsApp Channel and Instagram, for the purpose you sent it. You still own it.
• Do not send anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, sexual, defamatory or someone else's private information, and do not use palava.city to spam residents.

Changes and removal

We may edit, decline, hide or remove any entry or post, and suspend anyone who misuses the service, at our discretion. To report something wrong, or to ask for your business to be corrected or removed, message us on WhatsApp (send FIX with the entry's number) or write to grievance@virtualcoo.ai. We act on valid requests as quickly as we can, and within the times the law sets.

Limits

palava.city is provided free and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses arising from using the directory, from dealings with businesses or other residents, or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. Continuing to use palava.city means you accept the updated terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Thane, Maharashtra, have jurisdiction.
